What to expect

Each day begins with quiet practice of breath, meditation and awareness and gradually flows into more dynamic movement and postures. The classes are designed so that every person can access the practices and enjoy their yoga. After practice we eat a healthy breakfast together and then meet again for discussion on health, energy and yoga practice. A generous mid day break gives everyone time to relax, socialize or explore the area.

In the afternoon, we meet again for the mellow, nourishing practice of Yin Yoga, which is also accessible to every person, regardless of experience or flexibility. Then we eat dinner together and have an optional evening session of mantras, meditations and fire rituals. The entire experience can be tailored to your own needs and you can join the classes when you feel like it, or you can take time to yourself. It’s up to you!

Movement and Flow

Our practices are largely based on creating strength, vitality and flexibility through accessible, flowing movement. We teach students how to modify the poses to suit their body’s needs and abilities. It does not matter at all whether you are ‘flexible’ or not, and every student regardless or age, experience or physical condition will enjoy the movement and take great benefits from it.

Mantra and Puja

Many of the lessons we teach are based on the powerful traditions of yoga from India. One of the most transformative practices is the yoga of sound, or mantra. We use sound as a tool for meditation and transformation as well as for our fire rituals in the evening. Mantras also improve our communication and clarity in regular life.
It’s a very special practice that you won’t find just anywhere!

Pranayama and Breath

Breath is life and life is breath. Swara Yoga has a special system to get everyone breathing deeply and freely without strain or effort. There’s no better way to vitalize yourself and improve your health than yogic breathing. To practice the breathing, we us simple movements, so there is no need to sit for long periods of time.
Everyone can do it with comfort and ease.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, gentle approach to opening up the body and creating balance and health. Using props and softer postures, students sink into openness and calm during the practice.
This is an ideal yoga for people who are stressed or tired by work or daily life and wish to revitalize themselves.

Meet your yoga family

At Swara Yoga, we welcome every kind of person, regardless of where you’re from or where you’ve been. We accept you as you are, but we see your potential to change and transform into a higher version of yourself. If your yoga experience is limited, or you are stiff  or have injuries, you will still get a tremendous benefit from the course. Our workshops support your growth and we function as a yoga family, a group of people who care for each other and help each other as we walk along our yoga path. If you wonder if you are good enough or experienced enough for our courses, the answer is:

YES! You are. If you are keen to learn and love yoga, you belong with us and are always welcome.

What Is Health?
Health is Svastha, which is persistent well-being. It is a state that resists our becoming agitated or imbalanced even when circumstances may trouble us. Svastha results in joy, enthusiasm, vitality and juiciness.

Meet your Teacher

Randall has dedicated more than 3o years to yoga and teaching. He himself has had a lot of amazing teachers in various yoga styles and has studied in India extensively over many years. You don’t find many teachers with that level of experience and wisdom, but his teaching style is just as much about having a good time as it is about sharing ancient knowledge.

What Our Students say

Randall’s focus and teaching is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach', so each individual is acknowledged and accepted.
This course has been life changing for so many students and I’m now lucky enough to include myself as one of them.
